Dumpling Squishy Tracker: How to Track Designs, Duplicates & Your Collection

A dumpling squishy tracker has one job: tell you in ten seconds what you own, what is doubled up, and what is still missing. One row per design, a duplicate counter, and a Keep/Display/Trade/Gift status, all checked against official product pages, will serve you better than memory or invented rarity scores.

The simplest setup is a single spreadsheet or printed sheet with ten columns, copied from the template below. It handles designs, blind box duplicates, same-name variants and storage, and it takes about two minutes per new piece. The lineup comes from the official TABASQUISHY® Dumpling Squishy Collection, so every entry can be checked against a live page.

Here is the flow: the master table, a triage system for extras, a verification routine, and a blank template you can copy.

1. Why a Dumpling Squishy Collection Outgrows Memory Fast

Dumplings look alike at a glance. A Mint Dumpling, a White Dumpling and a Purple Dumpling share a silhouette, and after a few drops they blur together in your head. Add blind box pulls and you end up with duplicates nobody remembers ordering.

Pieces wander, too. One lives on your desk, one rides in a bag, one sits in a storage box, and before long you can't say where anything is. The cost is practical: you buy a design twice, or miss the piece you meant to add.

Each piece is handmade from food-grade silicone, so it deserves a photo and a note. A written record wins over a fuzzy recollection every time. It also pays off at checkout, since the store runs Buy 3 Get 1 Free and Buy 6 Get 2 Free offers on eligible items, and one glance at your list shows which four or eight pieces genuinely belong in the cart.

This is a record-keeping system. You will not find scores here.

What goes in each column

· Design Name is copied from the product page.

· Series / Line uses the storefront groupings: Classic & Colorful, Signature Glitter, 3D Puffy Dumplings, Animal Bun Friends, Animal Dumplings and Halloween Edition.

· Purchase Date is the day you ordered or the day the package arrived.

· SKU / Product URL holds the product link, the fastest way to re-verify an entry later.

· Color / Sculpt takes short descriptors such as "tie-dye", "glitter", "puffy" or "animal face".

· Blind Box is a plain yes or no.

· Duplicate is Y/N plus a count of extras.

· Status holds one of four tags, explained in the next section.

· Condition & Storage might read "bagged, shelf A" or "desk display".

· Notes is the home for photo links, the gift-giver, a trade partner, or a label copied from a live page.

Three habits that keep the log accurate

Log each piece on the day it arrives, while the box is still on the table. Add one photo per entry, ideally in good light so the finish shows. Keep scores and tiers out of every column, and record only what a product page actually states.

3. How to Handle Blind Box Duplicates Without Cluttering Your List

One line per design, one counter for extras

Keep a single row per design and raise the duplicate count rather than adding rows. The master list stays easy to scan, and your squishy duplicates show up at a glance.

The Halloween Dumpling Blind Box makes a good worked example. Each box holds one random piece. The line has 8 designs to collect, 6 regular and 2 secret, and you can buy a single box or a full case of 6. Write the box type (single or full case) in Notes, and your sheet will show exactly how a duplicate came about.

The four-tag triage: Keep, Display, Trade, Gift

Every piece gets exactly one tag in the Status column.

· Keep means the piece stays in storage as part of your main set.

· Display means it lives on a desk or shelf where you squeeze it daily.

· Trade marks a spare you are happy to swap, so add the partner's name and the date in Notes.

· Gift marks a spare set aside for someone, with the recipient noted.

Change the Status cell and leave the row in place. Your history stays intact, and you can always see where a piece went.

A quick pre-purchase check

Before you buy, filter the sheet by Series and look for existing rows. Blind boxes can deliver repeats by design, so decide in advance whether an extra becomes a Trade or a Gift. A little planning turns a pile of repeats into something useful.

4. Same Name, Small Tweaks: Cataloging Variants and Verifying Against Official Pages

Revision or separate SKU? A simple decision rule

If the product page has a different URL or title, give it its own row. If it is the same URL with only a photo update, keep one row and note the change.

Tell look-alikes apart by line, not by name. A standard Dumpling, a glitter version and a 3D puffy version are separate entries, even when the colors echo each other. Because every piece is handmade, two copies of the same design can show small finish differences. That is normal. Record it in Notes and skip the new design row.

A 4-step reconciliation routine

1. Open the TABASQUISHY® Dumpling Squishy Collection and use the Product type filter (Dumpling, Blind Box, DIY, Food, Full Case Edition) to narrow the list.

2. Match each row's name and URL to the live product page.

3. Group your rows by series so gaps become obvious. This grouped view is your taba dumpling list.

4. Mark every gap as "Wanted" in Status.

Using the color list as your lookup sheet

The Dumpling Squishy Rarity Guide & Color List lays out every Dumpling color and style on one page. It is organized into groups such as Classic & Colorful, Signature Glitter, 3D Puffy Dumplings, Animal Bun Friends, Animal Dumplings and Halloween Edition, and each piece links to its product page. Those groupings mirror the Series column in your tracker, so the page works as a ready-made squishy checklist for a dumpling squishy collection, and it suits anyone who likes a single page to scan before buying.

If the page carries a label you want to remember, copy it exactly into Notes and name the page it came from. Leave your own score out.

Rarity belongs in Notes, not in a made-up formula

Record only what a series or product page states, such as "Secret design" or a "Limited" tag. For the deeper method, read how to verify real rarity beyond the hype.

6. Keep the Pieces in Shape, Not Just the Spreadsheet

The Condition & Storage column is only useful if the pieces really are in that condition. A few habits from the brand's care guidance help:

· Squeeze through the bag where possible, and always with clean hands.

· Go easy on delicate parts such as ears and feet.

· Store pieces away from heat, direct sun and sharp objects like keys or nails.

· Wipe with a damp cloth and pat dry, avoid long soaking, and keep them away from alcohol and oils.

Set a monthly five-minute review to update condition notes while you are at it. For the full routine, see how to clean, store and maintain Taba Squishy.

7. FAQs

1. How can duplicate blind box dumpling squishies be organized in a tracking log?

Keep one row per design and increase the duplicate count when another copy turns up. Give each piece Keep, Display, Trade or Gift in Status, and note the box type so you remember where it came from.

2. How should design revisions or same-name dumpling squishy variants be cataloged?

Add a new row only when the product title or URL differs. Otherwise keep a single row and record the change in Notes, ideally with a photo.

3. How can official product pages be used to verify dumpling designs and series details?

Paste each product URL into the SKU / URL column, then match the title and series on the live collection page. Re-check before every purchase, and your list stays honest.
